This is the biggest development since the war began.
Trump posted on Truth Social Saturday that an agreement with Iran has been “largely negotiated” and that the Strait of Hormuz will be reopened as part of the deal. He said he personally called leaders of Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Turkey, Egypt, Jordan, Bahrain, and Israel — and that all calls went well.
A source close to negotiations told The Washington Times a draft proposal was agreed to Saturday and an announcement is expected Sunday afternoon.
Secretary Rubio cautioned that “significant, although not final, progress has been made.”
WHY IT MATTERS
84 days of war. Oil above $100 a barrel. Gas at $4.53 nationally. A confirmed deal — and an open Strait of Hormuz — changes all of that fast.
Nothing is signed yet. But this is the closest both sides have come. Watch this one today.
